At the Aqueduct arches at night in Segovia in Spain, where something matched a bit

I might explain this all another day, but in the meantime here is proof and the stamps are on the other page.

normally i dont like to put these kinds of pictures here but in this case i might even though my arm looks a bit funny. this is of Ivano who is italian and me. Aqua is water in Italian and poco poco is a little bit a little bit and piano piano is softly softly. (I remember 'piano' from music, and also 'fortisimo' which means loud and forceful, and then you get Allegro, which is sort of flowing or joined together, and various other words, Italian mostly interrestingly, used to explain how the music should be played. I never really considered when learning the flute after school at rosebank primary in jozi south africa that musical theory in fact relates very well to ultra running, so there you go. something matches.)

here is a little recovery run from last night in Leuven

Leuven is twinned with Stellenbosh in South Africa.
Leuven is where they make beer and Stellenbosh is where they make wine, and they both revolve around universities sort of and Leuven is near to Brussels which is head of the EU and Stellenbosch is near to Cape Town which is one of the capital cities of SA but I cant do much more writing here now because i cant use my crayons on the internet, in this country, at the moment, and I dont like typing really.

this is about Leuven:

something from the news a little while ago

(above - but first look at the drawing below) This is the drawing fixed up. well, its kind of fixed up but also not. its also destroying itslf now. but i cant explain but hopefully the pictures can explain themselves. If not, it doesnt matter really because they are just drawings anyway and drawings come from the imagination partly so they are off the hook.

(above) This is the first version of a drawing which i then decided was horrible so i drew on it, but i kept it too. i was trying to draw in an uncomplicated way but that just made the drawing feel all alone and sad.

this was from the newspaper a little while ago.

the longest and best run so far

the writing above goes to the map of the whole 100 mile run

here are some of the runners

the route was actually the same as the Hilly100 Relay Route so we could just follow those stickers + Rory added some to be sure, but at the end we had to do a little diversion and this was the map to the racecourse where the finish was where i got a bit lost. There were people camping in the car park of the racecourse, as their summer holiday. they must have been quite fond of horse racing I think. My dad would have liked it there, gambling away.

then these are just some pictures that I got off Rory's site.

and this is me and Graham at the finish, Graham was one of the 50 mile runners and we finished around the same time.
