the made up story of inside and outside the wooden carving

here i tried to add a little hope to the story, in the very last line, well two lines.
i'm not sure where the notion of wooden carvings comes from, but it could be from the carvings you can buy on the side of the road in south africa, or around hartebeespoort dam. it is a very specific specific feeling to see those carvings (over the years too) you also get a lot of carved masks (which are actually a type of replica)

the adaption saved for the volcano

you can add or take away as many chairs as you like to this picture, a bit like an argos catalogue item or monopoly board game (as a way of explaining by example)

Two Stories

i am not sure if this is part of the influence thing from yesterday or not, or maybe i can just blame it on my ipod, or nothing. anyway these are better in sound than in sight, i think.

the exhibition on the left

i also chose these postcards, becausse there is no ways i was going to put one of those triangle or rectangle mustard coloured things here, and there wasnt a lot else to choose from. but its ok, everything will be ok.

a diagram of part way through or of a life using a human

or something like that just quickly because of something. well i just said 'because of something' and also 'just quickly' because otherwise the sentence would only have four words and might be too set in stone like a statue or a finished drawing and then there would be the issues around queries around deletion or nervisness to deal with ontop of this drawing being pretty much junk really. (junk drawings are sometimes preferrable as there are no expectations so long as the drawings accept they are junk, which is a matter of opinion anyway then it will be much easier for them and they can always try something else next time like maybe being some computer code or a wasp)

the tumble weed again

this picture is boring as well, it has the same elements as before there is nothing really new, blood, daisy petals, coal, black, scribling and not much space. the movement bit is the tumbleweed in the karoo and thats not a new concept here and its just there because its better to not let the drawings be too extremely still.
What is the good thing in the drawing then hey? (pretending this is a comic in like an authodontists waiting room or something)
the circle is the good thing, because that seems less hard core than say a square or a rectangle so its easier to sleep. also the daisy petals are quite nice because they are still relatively alive which is probably also good, in its own way.

the importance of learning to copy which might be why this is writing not a drawing really linked to doing the opposite

maybe an idea could be to make an actual real life castle instead of copying one in the form of a drawing which inevitably turns out to be out of perspective anyway
